Oct 2003 - First time flying into Marsa Alam. Lose phone, grab a lift from a bus heading our way but all is well when we get there. A 30 minute bus journey - luxury. No more 5 hours in a minibus !!!!
The reef was busy for Oct and the Oceanic White tips added some excitement to our trips to Elphinstone - an almost fantastic shot of the Oceanic White Tip (what is german for move your ******* elbow !!) - Oh well, will have to go back again I suppose - damn :-)
Incidentally Hesham had a sting from the Red Sea Walkman - Very painful apparently. Finger swelled up like a frankfurter - He had to break the poison down by putting his finger into boiling water - It took three months to get the feeling back! - That is why they are also known locally as "Little Bastards"
